Thanks, friends, for all the sweet gestures of love you've shown during this rough week of ours. The written, the spoken, the tangible. Each and every one a balm, and so very much appreciated.

  1. Emily! So sorry to read about your rib and craziness with wisdom teeth. It really does seem to pour sometimes! You are in my prayers for a speedy recovery so you can get back to massage and mothering. In the meantime try and rest and heal! If it would help to have Isaac come play please let me know and I will come get him! Love, Carrie

    1. Jacqueline, my friend!

Thanks for the "reading material" and book heads-up. I love and have read all her other stuff. LOVE, and right up my alley. (You know me too well!)

About that lunch. Delish. And easy. Water sauteed some garlic and onions. Added some chopped kale, zucchini, and tofu cubes. Poured over a sauce that I just sort of made up. Some almond butter. Tamari. Maple syrup. Brown rice vinegar. ginger and garlic a little water to thin. Yes, I think that was it. All to taste and very yum. Oh, and a little cayenne for spice (that's what gave it the curry look.)

As for me, this pain is still a pain. Got worse this week than it started out. Body every muscle and bone- feeling like I've been run over. Mostly sitting and harder in the mornings after trying to sleep in the bed and tossing and turning all night. Doing the bare minimum, except forcing myself to go to my classes at night knowing that I do not want to get behind and have to make up everything.

      "this, too, shall pass"!
